I had already tried the suggestion provided by Andre, and it did not make any difference. I had also tried some changes to the Windows registry which I found had been indicated for earlier versions of Windows, such as the changes defined in this reference while its title refers to Chrome, it states that the change "affects every Web browser installed to your computer".

That did not make any difference either. Let me provide some additional background. What I am trying to accomplish is to reduce not increase the maximum number of simultaneous connections a web browser can establish with the server of a website. My wife has a website which includes a page having a lot of text and approximately jpg's.

When we view that page using Firefox and Windows 10 Pro approximately simultaneous connections are created! And using Microsoft Edge approximately 70 simultaneous connections to that server are created. On occasion this has resulted in the web hosting service imposing a temporary IP block. When I had tried what is suggested in Andre's post I changed the number to 25, and restarted Firefox. That made no difference whatsoever. I am using the latest version of Firefox I am also using a fully updated installation of Windows 10 Pro.
